Galleries: Covid-19 Record Shots

Photo of Aldi shop entrance showing traffic lights

We’ve all heard judges dismiss images, often disparagingly, as records shots. The thing is, if we didn’t have record shots we wouldn’t have records.
Here then is our chance to make a permanent record, using our cameras, of this bloody awful time in our history.
This pandemic shows no signs of disappearing any time soon so we’ve got plenty of time to fill this gallery.
The image on the left is nothing special with little artistic merit, arguably none. But consider this, if somebody told you last year that you would have to wait at traffic lights before you could enter a shop, or stand outside in the rain under an umbrella provided be the store, before you could get into B&Q what would your have said?
